FireStik Options: 9-Foot and 18-Foot Fire-Flex Coax Cable with FireRing connectors for CB antennas. The FireStik Fire-Flex cable assemblies are manufactured from RG-58A/U Fire-Flex coaxial cable and are designed for use with single antenna installations. Fire-Flex coaxial cable is perfect for CB, scanner, 2-meter, and 10 meter mobile antennas.
The Fire-Flex single antenna coax features FireStik's exclusive FireRing connector. The FireRing connector is a low profile antenna connector that eliminates the need to install a separate coax ground. The FireRing terminator is a weather tight, trouble free connection that eliminates potential shorts in the coax at the antenna stud.
The 9 foot version of FireStik's Fire-Flex cable has a pre-attached PL259 connector.
The 18 foot version has an unprocessed end. The unprocessed cable makes it easier to route coax through tight spaces, such as automotive firewalls. Soldering is required to attach the included PL259 connector for the 18 foot cable. If you need an 18 foot coax with the PL259 already attached (it actually has a removable PL259 connector), please see the MU8R18.
The termination of FireStik's 18 foot Fire-Flex cable is designed to fit any 1/2" (13mm) hole and has a built-in nylon shoulder washer to keep it centered and short free. If you are wanting the convenience offered by this FireStik cable, but do not want to solder your own PL259 end, then use MU8R18 which has PL259 on one end and a FireRing connector on the other already soldered in place for hassle free installation.

NOT INCLUDED: 1 1/4" 3/8 x 24 bolt needed to attach Fire-Ring to antenna stud/mount. The K4R antenna stud is the stud we recommend if you are selecting this coax as it includes the longer bolt needed to hold the Fire-Ring end.
