This device is for those who have multiple devices to connect to the TV.  The old VCR, the DVD player, the Game Cube, the Xbox, the Playsation, the Xbox 360, the camcorder, and anything else that uses RCA, S-Video, or optical connectors.  Most of us have a few of these.  The SVS14 allows you to connect all your devices (up to 4) to the TV at once and easily select between them.  No more plugging in and unpluging!
