Nowadays, most microphones have a fragile plastic hanger button on the back.  Breakage is very common.  Now you have a source to get a quality replacement.  FireStik's microphone button is made of lightweight aluminum and is finished with a black anodize coating.  FireStik also supplies a screw, nut and washer for mounting.  In order to make the part as universal as possible, you might find that FireStik left the screw a little long for some installations.  It can be cut flush with the nut face after the installation is completed.  This part is sized to fit with any of the common stamped hanger plates.  It also allows your microphone to be used with one of FireStik's universal snap-on hooks
