I was looking for an external speaker for the CB on my boat. I deep sea fish off the Oregon coast. I needed one to replace the one that didn't last a year because of the dampness. To my surprise, this 4" speaker sounds like and 8" speaker. Nice sound and a mounting bracket that can mount almost anywhere. Will have no problem recommending this speaker to anyone. Thanks, Bud
