This short antenna works great! I had a need to relocate the CB antenna on a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. After moving the stock antenna, I found it was too tall to fit under most garage doors. Before replacing the stock antenna with this one, I was able to perform power readings at various distances. I found that this antenna, when mounted in the same location as the relocated stock antenna, actually performed better. Very happy!
