These mounts are similar to FireStik's popular 3-way mounts without the clamp. If you know that your installation will not require the clamping bracket that is supplied with the 3-way mounts, you can save a couple of dollars with these mounts. All of these mounts are specifically used for mounting antennas to a flat vertical surface, such as the side of a van or motor home. These brackets are made heavy-duty stainless steel. The SS-24 is complete with FireStik's K-4 antenna stud with ring terminal connector. The SS-24A is complete with FireStik's world famous K-4A antenna stud with screw on coax cable connector. These mounts are also available in chrome plated steel. Both mounts come complete with stainless steel mounting hardware. If the installer is able to find a location on the vehicle that has both strength and enough surface to utilize all four mounting bolts, these brackets will easily support antennas up to 7' (1.8m) long. The actual size of the bracket is 2.25" (57mm) wide by 2.9" (74mm) high (4.2" (107mm) with stud). They protrude outward from the vertical surface 1.9" (48mm).
