The new Uniden BR330T Bearcat trunking police radio scanner is here! The new BR330T features some of Uniden's innovative features such as Close Call™ RF Capture, which allows users to pick up close signals without having to program the frequencies in. Another interesting feature of the BR330T is the Fire Tone-Out operation. This allows the scanner to operate in a standby mode and respond when a fire tone-out or a two-tone sequential page is issued. These are the paging systems used to call out emergency personnel when they are needed. The user can set up to ten settings, transmit frequency and tone frequencies, for standby monitoring. The BR330T also offers race track operation similar to the BC72XLT and BC92XLT. This makes it easy for users to scan and select drivers while at NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series or NASCAR Busch Series races. The BR330T provides full coverage from 100 kHz to 1.3 GHz (excluding cellular telephone) which includes AM Broadcast, shortwave broadcast, FM, VHF and UHF TV broadcast, as well as all public safety and racing frequencies. The BR330T features Uniden’s exclusive dynamically allocated memory system, allowing the user to program its 2500 channels into any configuration desired. While traditional scanners have been limited to only 10 banks, the BR330T groups channels into systems, allowing for 50 or more systems to be programmed and scanned simultaneously. Systems can still be quickly enabled or disabled using up to 100 quick keys, and each system can have up to 10 groups of channels that are also available for quick selection.
